Mr. Jonathan Hart as the new principal at North Livingston

Hart North Livingston Elementary School is pleased announce the selection of Mr. Jonathan Hart as the new principal.  Mr. Hart said,
“I’m humbled and excited to be a part of the North Livingston family! I look forward to getting started.”

Congrats to our retiring employees!

Retire Livingston County Schools honored 11 retiring employees at a reception on Monday, June 11th.  Those able to attend the reception are pictured: Mrs. Barbara Crawford-Teacher NLES, Mrs. Kim Lampley-Guidance Counselor SLES, Mrs. Sheri Henson-Principal NLES and Mrs. Evelyn Walker-Preschool Bus Monitor.  Those retiring but unable to attend include: Mr. Scott Gray – Principal LCHS, Ms. Jackie Hatfield-Food Service, Mrs. Lisa Head-Teacher LCHS, Mr. Melvin Houk-Finance Officer, Mrs. Nancy Jones-Food Service, Ms. Rhonda Myrick-Food Service and Mrs. Kimberly Simpson-Shelley-Teacher LCHS.  We wish to thank all of these employees for their dedication and commitment to the students in our school system and the to the community during their years of service with Livingston County Schools. 

Lauren Schmitt of the Livingston Central FFA was named the State Star Farmer at a special ceremony as part of the 89th State FFA Convention

Lauren Lauren Schmitt of the Livingston Central FFA was named the State Star Farmer at a special ceremony as part of the 89th State FFA Convention in Lexington.  The Star Farmer is the highest honor Kentucky FFA can award to a member.  The award is based on the student’s work with their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) Program, FFA involvement, and community service.  In addition to an application detailing her four years in FFA, Lauren completed an interview in front of a panel of agricultural leaders from across the state.

LCHS The Livingston Central High School SBDM Council is proud to announce the selection of Mrs. Stephanie Wood as the Principal of LCHS. She is expected to assume her duties on July 1, 2018. Mrs. Wood comes to us with 22 years of experience in education with a strong foundation in rigorous, engaging, and differentiated instruction (Living RED). Mrs. Wood said, “I am honored and excited to begin working with the students, staff, families, and community of Livingston Central High School.”
