LCHS award Livingston Central High School proudly accepted a $1300 arts inclusion award.

Livingston Central High School proudly accepted a $1300 arts inclusion award. Funded by VSA Kentucky, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities in the arts for children and adults with disabilities. During this project students created artwork from clay. Students learned about textures and other clay techniques. Students worked on a collaborative mural that will be hung in the art room. They had a guest artist from Bowling Green, Mr. Cutevetti Dye, an experienced ceramisist. This was an excellent opportunity for Livingston Central art students to work with an experienced artist

Sexual Assault Awareness Month Sexual Assault Awareness Month

In recognition of April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month, our local Health Department will be hosting a “Chalk the Walk” Open House on Wednesday April 11th from 3:30-5:00. Our families and students are invited to come draw pictures, write thoughts, poems, or just sign their names in support of combatting sexual assault.  The Health Department will be providing information on Sexual Assault Awareness, reporting and support venues, as well as other information on programs they provide.  Feel free to bring your own chalk if would like, and if any students want to do some special “murals” and need extra time or set aside space please let the Health Department know and they will try to help coordinate any special accommodations.

To the parents of students with special needs YOUR OPINION MATTERS!!  Please see the instructions below to rate Livingston’s Special Education Program!!!

We need your input! Our school district and the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) want to hear from parents regarding how well your child’s school is doing to involve you in the special education services provided to your child. We would like you to complete a brief, online survey to share your experience with your child’s special education services during the current school year (2017-18). Please go to www.kypso.org, click “Click here to access the 2018 Parent Survey,” and complete the eleven-question survey telling us about your current experiences. If you would like to visit the school to complete the survey, you are more than welcome to use one of our computers. Unfortunately, this survey is only available electronically as we are unable to process paper copies.
